Having a safe room in your home or small business can help provide “near-absolute protection” for you and your family or your employees from injury or death caused by the dangerous forces of extreme winds. Near-absolute protection means that, based on our current knowledge of tornadoes, there is a very high probability that the occupants of a safe room built according to the proper FEMA guidelines will avoid injury or death. A safe room can also relieve some of the anxiety created by the threat of an incoming tornado.

All of our metal saferooms are custom made to order. These are considered our “standard” sizes, but we can customize this saferoom down to the half inch if your space requires something specific. They have a 3/16 outer skin and a 12 gage inner skin. It has a standard 36″ steel door with three deadbolts and can swing inward or outward and can hinge left or right. Each saferoom comes painted gray. Powder coating is available at an extra cost. This unit does NOT have a floor. They are typically installed in existing garages, but are great for new builds as well.
